Another of the PSA joint ventures with Citroen’s Relay and Fiat’s Ducato the 2014 Peugeot Boxer offers the same four body lengths and three roof heights as its twinned vehicles. Similarly, payloads range from 1115 to 1900kg and loadspace from 8 to 17m³.
AS with the Relay and Ducato, the Boxer is more than just a facelift. Improvements have been made to interior layout, brakes, reinforced rear doors, locks and hinges, new runners for the side-load door as well as re-designed suspension for reduced road noise.

Powered by a 2.2 litre HDi diesel engine in a choice of 110ps, 130ps or a 150ps outputs as well as a more powerful 3.0 litre 180ps diesel engine, the Peugeot Boxer will return Combined MPG fuel figures in the range of 37.7 to 41.5…up to 15% improvement on the older model.
As with the Relay and Ducato, the Boxer is offered in the 3t to 4t GVW but as with all vehicles over 3.5t an operator’s licence will be required.
Cabin materials and dash layout have been improved .It also gets electric windows, heated door mirrors, deadlocks and DAB Digital Radio & Bluetooth as standard with the ‘Professional’ version adding Manual air conditioning for cab area, including glovebox, Alarm, Cruise Control, Rear parking aid & Touchscreen with integrated Navigation.
