Although twinned with Vauxhall’s Vivaro van, the New Renault Trafic is built in a different factory in France from the Vauxhall Vivaro which is built in Luton UK.
Available in the same configuration to the previous Trafic with two wheelbases and two roof heights, this model offers load volumes from 5.2m3 to 8.6m3 and maximum payloads up to 1,269kg.

Offering the same engine line up as its twin, the cubic capacity has been reduced from the previous model from 2.0 litre to 1.6 litre. There are four engine choices in total; a 90ps and 115ps with single turbo or 120ps and 140ps with BiTurbos for added power. Fuel economy has also been improved by around 5% overall with the 115ps returning combined fuels figures of 47.9mpg.
The basic ‘Business’ model has a high level of standard equipment which includes DAB radio, Bluetooth and full steel bulkhead. The ‘Business+’ model adds Air Con, rear parking sensors, Mobile office, Load-through bulkhead and the ‘Sport’ model adds alloys, cruise and touchscreen Sat Nav as well as upgraded interior and exterior styling. Overall we think the latest Trafic is a definite improvement on its predecessor in both comfort and driving experience.
Another great mid-sized van, but competing against its twin in the UK which is built in Luton and the almighty Transit Custom, price would need to be the determining factor to drive sales.
We can "totally" recommend the service received from Paul and Totally Vans.
In addition to the final price being extremely competitive, the entire process was absolutely painless. So much so, made me question why previous vehicle purchases were so laborious!Michael, Claire, Adam and Albi – Commercial Catering Contracts LTD.
I am always a little apprehensive when buying a new vehicle. What is the best model for my needs?, Which is the most appropriate funding solution? Am I getting a good deal? etc. Totally Vans gave me all of the facts and enabled me to make an informed and confident decision. Antony Cockerell - AR18
