The Citroen Dispatch fits neatly between the Berlingo and the Relay. The range features payloads from 988kg to 1188kg, two body lengths, two roof heights and a load volume from 5m3 to 7m3. There’s a choice of four Euro 5 engines; the 1.6HDi 90hp with 5 speed manual box or the 2.0HDi in 95hp, 125hp and 160hp all with 6 speed manual box. The 95hp and the 125hp were good and responsive to drive and the 160hp is useful for heavier loads if you live somewhere hilly, however the 1.6HDi was underpowered on the open road and especially when laden.

Aside from having only 5 gears, even less reason to own the 1.6HDi is it’s fuel economy and CO2 emissions are not as good as the 2.0HDi 125hp which returns 44.1mpg and 168g/km.
The Citroen Dispatch makes loading and unloading effortless with the twin sliding side loading doors which come as standard and two solid panel doors on the rear which are easy to open. The Dispatch is generally better equipped as standard than many of the rival vans of this size except of course for the Toyota Proace or the Peugeot Expert as they are essentially the same van although standard equipment may vary.
Also available in the Dispatch range are the Crew& Combimodels. The Crew has an extra row of seats and rear load space and the Combi is essentially a people carrier with flexible loadspace behind the folding 6-seat or 9-seat option. The 2.0HDi 125hp was our favourite, especially the Enterprise which was well equipped with good loadspace but the cabin becomes a bit cramped with 3 in front.
We can "totally" recommend the service received from Paul and Totally Vans.
In addition to the final price being extremely competitive, the entire process was absolutely painless. So much so, made me question why previous vehicle purchases were so laborious!Michael, Claire, Adam and Albi – Commercial Catering Contracts LTD.
I am always a little apprehensive when buying a new vehicle. What is the best model for my needs?, Which is the most appropriate funding solution? Am I getting a good deal? etc. Totally Vans gave me all of the facts and enabled me to make an informed and confident decision. Antony Cockerell - AR18
